'Education for all' proves to be a slogan and an aphorism.A person who is over twenty years of age is normally called an adult. The spacial education for the adult is known as adult education. In order to reduce the number of illiterate adults,it is implemented in most of the countries. There prevails a great difference between the education for children and the education for the adult. Children learn normal education but adult education is informal. The education of children is given for their higher studies. But adult education is limited.Adults learn reading, writing and practical mathematics. Adult education normally makes the illiterate adults literate. The government of Nepal has implemented adult education all over the country.Adult classes are run in the morning or in the evening. The adults who are learning adult education are not treated like school children;they are especially treated by the teachers. Adult education is basically necessary for the illiterate adults. It is specially necessary in developing countries like Nepal, Bhutan, and so on all the illiterate adults should be encouraged to learn adult education. It is necessary for the upliftment of the country as well.

Privatization in Education
Popular Sites Directory
In Nepal, there are two types of academic institution. They are government-aided and private. Private schools and collages are further divided into personal and institutional. Personal private schools and collages established for profit making.Institutional ones are established to provide service to the people. Nowadays, most of the people want to send their children private schools and collages;and as a result, private academic institutional are increasing rapidly. Most of the students of private schools and collages pass their exams in the first division. Although there exist some demerits of privatization in education, the contributions of private academic institutions cannot be ignored. It is sure that they are,an average, providing quality education. All the private schools and collages should be institutionalized. They should not be commercialized in the name of privatization.

Women education
International Human Rights Instruments are not to be ratified only; they are to be practiced too. Until they are practiced, the status of women will not be strong. Though Nepal has ratified several International Human Rights Instruments regarding discrimination against women as a law of the country, more than 50% of heads i.e. women, in Nepalese societies are deprived of equal opportunities in attaining education in the name of female. From family to school and university level education, women are in pity situation and are being discriminated by men. Men just in the name of male are playing dominant role in the family to society. Everywhere the discrimination in the roles constructed and assigned by the society for men and women over a long period of time are becoming great obstacles for women in attaining education and achieving the opportunities competing with men. Women are not in the situation of equally competing with men in accomplishing the opportunities. It can be suggested that Nepal has to strictly implement and practice all the articles of conventions and conferences regarding discrimination against women in education that have been ratified too. Until and unless women are educated never can compete with men and until both men and women are made equal in all aspects no sustainable development in the country can be dreamt up.
Problem
Nepal Education System had been developed, if we glance back to history, with international whims and context ignoring the domestic circumstances, which is our
misfortune. The political change of 1990, which restored multi-party democracy, has brought a phase in the history of educational policy inNepal . “Education for
All” has become a national slogan again. This has brought a new optimism.Nepal also signed the Convention on the Rights of Child (CRC) that declares education a fundamental right of every child. Though, the survey done by National Planning Commission (2001) shows that only 38 percent of the population six years and older
is literate inNepal . Literacy rates are substantially higher in urban areas (64percent) than in rural areas (36 percent). Regional disparities also exist, with the highest literacy rates found in the Western Development Region (44 percent),and the lowest rates in the Mid-West and Far-Western Development Regions (around 31 percent). The stratification by ecological belt reveals that the hills have the highest overall literacy rate (45 percent)
